Our beloved husband and father, William Richard (Bill) Mark, passed away peacefully on September 21st at the age of 82. He is survived by his wife, Sandy; his brother Jim; his children Robert (Brooke) and Sarah (Mike); and was a loving Nanak to his grandchildren Claire and Alexander.

He was born on September 5th, 1944, to Joe and Vera. His childhood in East York and Scarborough instilled a lifelong passion for cars and mechanics, which he passed on to his son and grandson. His fondest memories as a young man were racing with his friends in the car club Park Rod and Custom. Many of these friendships endured to his final days. Bill and Sandy first met when they were teenagers and have been married for just shy of 58 years. Bill will always be fondly remembered by family and friends as (Uncle) R***.

Bill spent the majority of his working life repairing forklifts and electric material handling equipment. His expertise had him troubleshooting problems with equipment and providing training throughout Canada and the U.S.

He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his brother Bob.

A celebration of life will be held on November 7, 2026, from 1- 5 p.m. at the Stouffville Legion Branch 459.
