In Loving Memory of Wendy Chandler

February 24, 1953 – August 19, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wendy Elizabeth Chandler.

Wendy will be deeply missed by her partner, Chris Fallis; her children Jamie Wiebe (Brian), Jon Dickson (Kyra), and Chandler Balsdon (Chris); her grandchildren Riley, Leah, Casey, and Cameron; and her sister Julie Bodden. Wendy will be missed by her extended family members and many friends who loved her.

Wendy was funny, outgoing, and often the life of the party. She loved to laugh and, even more, she loved making other people laugh. She had a big personality and a way of making people feel welcome wherever she went. If Wendy was there, there was usually a good story, a lot of laughter, and probably a little bit of mischief.

She loved having family and friends around her and was well known for her famous roast beef au jus dinner parties.

Wendy will be remembered for her humour, independence, big personality, love of family and friends, and all the laughter she brought into people's lives. She leaves behind many wonderful memories and will be missed by so many.

A celebration of Wendy's life will be held on Sunday, August 23, from 2:00–5:00 p.m. at the Hamilton Air Force Association, 128 King Street East, Dundas, Ontario.

Family and friends are welcome to come together, share stories, have a laugh, and celebrate Wendy's life.
