In Loving Memory of Taral Ann Dault December 12, 1938 – October 12, 2025
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Taral Ann Dault, a beloved mother, godmother, and friend, who departed this life peacefully on October 12, 2025.
Born in Timmins, Ontario, Taral was the cherished daughter of Ken and Rose (nee Lucas) Tomkinson. She grew up surrounded by the natural beauty of Northern Ontario, which instilled in her a lifelong appreciation for nature and community. A proud graduate of Branksome Hall, Taral carried the values of education, grace, and resilience throughout her life.
Taral was predeceased by her devoted husband, Donald Dault, with whom she shared many cherished years. She is survived by her son, Richard Pollon, with whom she remained closely connected throughout her life. Taral also held a special place in her heart for her goddaughter, Jane Chan Singh, and was adored by Jane’s family, who considered her a guiding presence and a source of unconditional love.
She was loved by the members of the Dault / Kennedy families in Sudbury and Sault St-Marie, who will remember her for her conviction, generosity, and unwavering spirit. Her presence brought joy and comfort to all who knew her, and her legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.
A private memorial service will be held to honor Taral’s life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, Taral requested that donations be made to an animal shelter or women’s shelter in her memory.
May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love she so freely gave.
