Raymond Lawrence Stedman

Larry, 70, of Stouffville, ON, passed away at Sunnybrook Hospital on October 23rd, 2025, after a sudden medical event.

Born in Scarborough to Bill and Pat Stedman, he enjoyed an idyllic childhood with the hooligans of Stansbury Crescent.

Larry is survived by his wife of 42 years, Becky; his children, Ryan (Kait), Trish, and Katie (Kevin); his grandchildren, Charles, Arthur, Willow, and Jasper; and his siblings, Kathleen (Bill), Warren (Diane), Maureen, and Beth (Owen).

He will be remembered for being a devoted father and family man, for his endless willingness to help anyone in need, and for his remarkable gift of conversation—able to chat with absolutely anyone for hours on end, whether they liked it or not.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
