Paul Robert Rook-Green

Oct 23, 1961 — May 25, 2026

Born in Peterborough, Paul spent his childhood enjoying summers at the family island cottage, experiences that remained meaningful throughout his life.

In his younger years, he was an avid golfer and maintained a lifelong enthusiasm for sports. Whether following hockey, baseball, basketball, tennis, or golf, he enjoyed keeping up with the games and sharing that interest with others. He was also an avid reader—rarely without a book in hand and always with a library card—and enjoyed movies, conversation, and exchanging ideas with others.

Paul spent much of his working life with a drafting and engineering supply company in Toronto, serving for many years as a manager and taking pride in his work.

He will be remembered for his sense of humour, inventive stories, thoughtful and engaging conversations, and generosity of spirit, as well as his determination and the courage and positivity with which he faced life’s challenges. He also enjoyed life’s lighter moments, whether driving with the top down in his beloved sports car or settling in with a good book or movie.

Predeceased by his parents, Paul will be lovingly remembered by his sister Anne and brother-in-law Calvin; his brother Michael; his nephews Trevor, Philip, and Drew; his niece Elizabeth; his extended family and family friends; and many friends in his Yonge and Eglinton community.
