Paul Craig Howarth

Paul Craig Howarth was born in Etobicoke, ON, on March 6, 1961. He passed away on April 21, 2026, with his family by his side.

Paul graduated from McMaster University in 1984 with a degree in Physical Education and earned his teaching degree from Lakehead University in 1986. Afterward he worked at Somerset Academy and held numerous government positions.

He was a passionate and dedicated teacher and a role model in all his professional endeavors.

His life was defined by an unwavering love for his family. He is survived by his beloved wife Janice; his children Paul Howarth Jr (Chelsea), Adam Hassaan ( Victoria), Derek Hutchuk, Nicole Bruder-Hutchuk (Derek); and his grandchildren Nolan, James, Willow, Sonny and Jax He is also survived by his brother David (Jenny), brother Mark (Regan); and nephew Brian (Giulia).

Paul and Janice were married for 28 years and together they blended their families thirty-two years ago after meeting through a newspaper ad. Paul was the anchor to their family.

Paul had a quick wit and warm heart. He loved spending time with his family, was a lover of the movies, and had a lifelong passion for the gym.

He will forever be in our hearts. May he rest in peace.
