It is with great sadness that our family shares the passing of Patrick William Corcoran on May 31, 2026, at the age of 58.
Born in Toronto and raised in East York, Patrick later settled in Ajax, where he formed many lifelong friendships and became known for his larger-than-life spirit and love of motorcycles.
Known to many through Bombsquad Racing #44, Patrick found his greatest joy on the racetrack, living life with passion, freedom, and determination.
Predeceased by our parents, Leo and Sally Corcoran, Patrick leaves behind his loving siblings Laura-Lee Vaughan (David), Daniel Corcoran, and Timothy Corcoran.
He was a proud Uncle “Buddy” to Christopher Helm (Chelsea) of Mission, BC and cherished great-uncle to Sawyer, Pearce, Sadie, Brooks, and Winslow.
Patrick was deeply saddened by the recent passing of his beloved niece, Colette Clarke of Pender Island, BC.
Patrick’s independent spirit, sharp wit, and loyal heart will be remembered always by the many family members and friends whose lives he touched over the years.
Our family would like to sincerely thank the Gouvas and Button families for the kindness, friendship, care, and unwavering support they provided to Patrick over the last three years. We will forever be grateful. We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to the ICU staff and doctors at Lakeridge Hospital Oshawa for the compassionate care they gave Patrick during his final days.
Arrangements for a Celebration of Life will be announced at a future date.
Ride free, Patrick. Forever loved. Forever remembered.
