Murray Terence "Terry" Gibson

Gibson, Murray Terence (Terry) passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Ross Memorial Hospital in their palliative care unit in his 83rd year. Terry lived a life filled with adventure with his beloved wife of 59 years, traveling across Canada and around the world to Australia through his career with IBM as well as during their retirement. He had an eye for beauty; he received many awards for his wood turnings as well as his nature and bird photographs. Terry was a talented musician and started with playing the accordion, then moved on to building and playing his own pipe organ.

Terry will be dearly missed for his gentle and kind manner by his family: Theresa Gibson (nee Daigle); son and family; Christopher and Julie Gibson with their children, his beloved grandsons Jonah and Connor Gibson. He is survived by his brother Derek Gibson and his sister Cheryl Pearson and their families.
