It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Maureen Richardson, who died peacefully on November 5th 2025 at 5:43 a.m. at Mackenzie Health in Richmond Hill, surrounded by her sons, Sean and Gord.

A lifelong educator, Maureen dedicated her career to teaching, inspiring countless students with her patience, kindness, and love of learning. Outside the classroom, she was known for her leadership in curling and Scottish country dancing, both of which brought her great joy and lasting friendships. She was a dedicated community leader and volunteer in King Township and beyond.

She was a proud grandmother to two beloved grandsons, who were a constant source of light in her life.

Maureen will be remembered for her energy, her patience, and her unwavering devotion to family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at Dr. William Laceby Nobleton Community Centre on November 23rd 2025, between 1:00pm and 4:00pm.
