Mary Virginia Trevurza

Mary Virginia “Ginny” Trevurza, born October 31, 1946 passed away on July 19, 2026.

She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Russ, her sister Cathie and her nephews, Chris and Brad. She was predeceased by her parents, Charles (Ty) and Mary Veronica (O'Neil) Gartlan, as well as her brother, Michael and her sister, Lee.

As the eldest of four children, Ginny was a vibrant social soul who loved to entertain every chance she got, bringing people together with warmth and laughter. She was never afraid to try new things or step into any adventure – whether it meant an impromptu move to England at age 20 subsisting on a meager salary selling Lego at a department store (actually a real job!), spending long lazy summers at their cottage on the Trent system , or escaping to Castaway Resort in Fiji on their way to/from their home in New Zealand where they spent many winters.

She also adored her gentle loving dog, “Summer” who also passed away a few days before Ginny.

In her final days she was at peace and her message to us was clear and simple, surround yourself with good friends, family and wonderful experiences and you live a truly full life.
