In Loving Memory of John Merritt

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of John Merritt of Mississauga, Ontario, at the age of 87, on August 19 at 8:50 p.m.

He will be remembered for his great sense of humour and carefree approach to life. He had a wonderful ability to make people laugh and never took life too seriously. His easygoing nature and positive spirit made him a pleasure to be around.

John had a lifelong love of sports, especially football, and enjoyed sharing in the excitement of watching it. He also enjoyed spending time at Woodbine Racetrack, a favourite hobby that brought him enjoyment over the years.

John will be remembered for his quick wit, his carefree spirit, his love of sports, and the happiness he brought into the lives of those around him. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

Rest peacefully, Dad / Grandpa. Thank you for the laughter, the memories, and the love. You will always be in our hearts.
