John Howard Clark, 81, of Burlington, Ontario, passed away peacefully after his 8-year struggle with Vascular Dementia on September 15th 2026, at Age Care Brant in Burlington, with Bev and Kathy by his side.

He will truly be missed by his wife, partner and best friend of 43 years, Beverly Cumming Clark.

John was born February 26, 1945, in Hamilton to his loving parents Howard and Alice Clark of Caledon.

He is predeceased by his son Sean Patrick Clark.

John will be remembered by his sons Robert Clark and Tanya of Winnipeg, James Clark and Tan of Winnipeg, Sean Pope and Lisa of Burlington, Brett Pope and Josee of Winlaw, BC, and Sean Clark’s partner Michelle Davis.

Loved by his grandchildren Jake, Holly, Chrissy, Jack, Owen, Ben, Veda, Connor, Gracie, and great-grandson Landon.

He will be missed by his in-laws, Michael and Kathryn Kenrick, and Gregory Cumming.

John grew up in Caledon, Ontario, on the land that his ancestors received in 1833. He moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba, with Carrier Air Conditioning. Eventually moved back to Ontario and became a member of the Real Estate Board and spent many years in the Condominium and Resort Industry. John and I enjoyed working together for many years.

I would like to thank everyone at Age Care Brant for their care and compassion over the last year. And thank you to Dr. Arshat, who was always there when I needed him.

A celebration of his Life will be held at the Burlington Art Gallery, 1133 Lakeshore Road, Burlington, on October 1, 2026, from 2 to 4.

Interment at Boston Mills Cemetery, Caledon.

It was a very very long goodbye……
