Jack Thomas Seher

Jack Seher passed away peacefully in the early hours of February 26, 2026, at the age of 22, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Jack will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Carole Armitage; father, Stefan Seher; his stepmother, Patricia Currie; and his half-siblings, Emma and Nathan. He is also survived by his great grandmother Gerta Wrana; his grandparents, Anne Armitage, Sieglinde & Harald Iljin, Helmut Seher and step-grandmother, Sharon Jones; his many aunts, uncles and cousins in Canada and Germany.

His beloved golden retriever Abbey who was his bestest friend in the world.

Jack had a passion for video gaming and a deep love of baseball. His competitive spirit, quick wit, and quiet strength left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Though his time with us was far too short, Jack’s strength, humor, and love will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. His courage throughout his illness was a testament to the remarkable young man he was.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to our work families who stand by our side through this difficult time and the many nurses, doctors, and support staff at Princess Margaret Hospital, especially those on Unit 16P, for the endless compassion, dedication, and strength they provided to Jack and our family during the final three months of his fight.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his loving family and close friends.
