GRETCHEN ROBERTSON

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gretchen Robertson, who passed away peacefully on September 29, 2026, at the age of 35, following complications from a heart transplant.

Gretchen will be forever loved and deeply missed by the love of her life, River Falke, and by her devoted parents, Sabine and Ron Robertson. She will also be lovingly remembered by her brothers, Evan (Taylor) and Blake (Rachel), and her adored nephews, as well as her grandmother, aunts, and cousins, who will all miss her dearly.

Gretchen had a kind and sensitive heart and a wonderful ability to make people feel welcomed, valued, and connected. She loved meeting new people and had a gift for bringing people together.

Her friendships reached far beyond those she knew in person, and her absence will be felt by the many online friends she made from all around the world.

Gretchen was an adventurer with a wonderfully spontaneous spirit. She might stop at a restaurant simply because it looked interesting or decide to take a trip to Japan just because she could. She followed her curiosity, embraced the unexpected, and found adventure wherever life took her.

Those who knew Gretchen will remember her kindness, spontaneity, and wonderful sense of humor.

Being herself was her greatest gift, and she brought something uniquely her own to every friendship, adventure, and moment she shared with others.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. Her memory will live on through the stories, laughter, friendships, and countless moments that made her so special to those who knew and loved her.

A celebration of Gretchen’s life will be held at a later date. Details will be shared when arrangements have been finalized.
