Frances Boyd Hutchison

Frances Boyd Hutchison passed away suddenly on January 2, 2026.

Born in Toronto on July 25, 1966, Frances was a proud lifelong Torontonian. She attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help Grade School, St. Joseph’s Wellesley High School, and later graduated from Humber College.

Frances had a deep love for community and connection, which she found through the YMCA. She began her involvement at the North York location and later became a devoted member of the Cooper Koo branch, a place that truly became her happy place and second home.

Frances was the heart of her family and her absence will be keenly felt by those who knew her.

She was predeceased by her parents, Paul and Marjorie (McGirr) Hutchison. She is lovingly remembered by her sisters, Sheila, Julie, and Janet Raats; her brother-in-law, Jay; her niece, Hilary and her nephew, Pierce - all of whom will miss her dearly.
