Obituary for Donna Graham

Donelda “Donna” Graham (68), of Orillia ON, tragically lost her life on October 13th 2026 at Sunnybrook Hospital, surrounded by her loving children, after being struck by a vehicle while out walking on Thanksgiving Day.

Born on January 2, 1958 in Bracebridge, ON to Irene and Clarence Hudson, Donna grew up in Gravehurst and began building a career, serving at the Muskoka Center and Community Living as a Personal Support Worker. She dedicated her life to being a wonderful mother.

She is survived by her former husband, Ginger Graham and her two children, Brian (Sabrina) and Hallie (Alex). She met Gordon William DeRose and they built a life together and helped raise their four (4) grandchildren, Lela, Brian “Buddy,” Rebecca “Becka,” and Evangeline “Eva” along with Brian. She welcomed Hallie’s son Dean with Alex in 2023.

To her family, Donna was everything. She was known for her quick wit, generous hospitality, and enormous heart. She never forgot a birthday or to check on neighbours/friends in need. She had a wonderful crazy laugh that encouraged everyone to join in. Her favourite activities, when not spending time with her grandchildren, were exploring the paranormal through her youtube channel “A Walk Among the Spirits” and crafting on her Cricut.

She was predeceased by her partner, Bill and her siblings, Sharon, Christine and Billie Renae. She leaves behind nine (9) siblings, extended family and friends to mourn.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.

In lieu of flowers, a family friend has started a GoFundMe for the Graham family.
