It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Darlene Ann Niziol, who left us peacefully on October 30, 2025. Born on August 13, 1952, in Toronto, Darlene was cherished as a loving sister, aunt, and friend. 

Darlene is survived by her sister Susan Murray and was predeceased by her brother Edward Niziol. She will be forever remembered by her nieces and nephews — Cameron Murray (Melanie), Keith Murray (Amanda), Vanessa Moss (Kevin), and Sandra Niziol-Shaw (Chris) — as well as her many great-nieces and great-nephews, all of whom brought her great pride and joy throughout her life. 

Darlene will be fondly remembered for the love she shared with those around her. Her beloved cat, Cory, was her constant companion and a source of immense comfort and happiness. 

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nurses at Centenary Hospital for their compassion and care during Darlene’s final days. 

A celebration of Darlene’s life will be held at a later date. Details will be shared with family and friends. 

Darlene will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who knew her.
