Bertha “Beth” Westcott

Passed away peacefully on June 11, 2026 after a long hard-fought battle with dementia in her 75th year. Dearly loved wife of Ron and loving mother to Cheryl and her favourite son-in-law Jon Trumbley. Proud Nana to her beloved grandson Jackson. Predeceased by her loving parents J. Elmer and Kathleen Danby .

Born and raised in Brussels, Ontario, Beth was a registered nurse with Humber Memorial Hospital until she retired to raise her family. She married Ron in 1975 and together they raised their family in Bolton, Ontario before moving to Everett.

A lover of animals from her early farm days, the animal whisperer is already greatly missed by her sidekick Kitty and her many granddogs whom she regularly spoiled rotten.

Many thanks to the PSW’s that took their time and treated her like family. A sincere thank you to Susan, Crystal and Arlene from Bayshore, we could not have managed without these incredible ladies, and we are forever thankful for them and the extra care they took with her over the years.
